Recognitions

Recognitions preserve learner progress when curriculum changes alter how knowledge is divided into units. They map prior completed units to the new units that the same learning should satisfy.

Use them only when the earlier completion is genuine evidence for the new completion. They are part of a proposal's transition semantics, not ordinary curriculum content.
